"Bon Jovi: 8; Audience: -2"

I went, I saw, they rocked. Too bad that audience was flat as hell. Geez, the J-Rock concert had a smaller audience and was 5 times better than last night. But nothing against the group, they were great. Sprink, didn't touch Jon, though he did walk out into the audience and I was about 6 feet away at one point, so I'm good with that much. /^^\
I need to look up that opening act. I never heard of them before since I don't keep up to date in the US music scene anymore, but they were pretty good. And the lead singer came out and did a duet with Jon on Blaze of Glory that I enjoyed.
Highlights: Richie singing I'll be there for you; Jon stopping Bad Medicine right in the middle and switching to Shout (60s version) to get the audience a bit more lively (it worked for a hot second); audience singing certain songs word for word and almost drowning out Jon; David Bryan's curly hair (don't ask me why, it just was).
Low points: outside of a few songs, was generally a flat flat flat audience. I felt sorry for the first act, the audience sat down through most of their set.
Alas and alack, I am tired and likely will be all day, but hopefully I'll recover to start work on these assignments. And I need to call the school to complain about this instructor. But I enjoyed the show, bought a scarf, (which I wound up being very grateful for when I was waiting on my ride after the concert), and am overall happy I went. My feet don't agree, but I tend to ignore them anyway.

I'm glad you had a lot of fun generally at the concert even if the audience was flat.
If the lead singer of the opening act was bald, it was "Daughtry," they've been opening up for Bon Jovi currently. (The lead singer is actually a "loser" on American Idol, but damn, he's good!)
